Can I learn Brazilian Portuguese with no prior experience? +
Absolutely! Many of my students start from zero. I'll tailor every lesson to your level, starting with pronunciation, essential vocabulary, and simple conversation — all at your pace.
What will I learn in my first month? +
You'll build a foundation in pronunciation, learn essential greetings and phrases, start forming basic sentences, and begin understanding everyday Brazilian Portuguese. You'll also pick up cultural context that textbooks miss.
How long does it take to hold a basic conversation? +
Most beginners can hold basic conversations within 2-3 months of weekly lessons. Faster progress comes with the Intensive plan (8 lessons/month). I track your progress so you can see how far you've come.
Is Brazilian Portuguese hard for English speakers? +
It's actually one of the more accessible languages for English speakers. Many words share Latin roots, and the pronunciation is more phonetic than English. With a native tutor guiding you, you'll pick up the natural rhythms quickly.
